ÃÛÌÒTV Maine Community College (ÃÛÌÒTV) recognized faculty and staff members on Tuesday, May 6, at the College’s annual Employee Recognition Ceremony, celebrating over 920 years of combined service across departments.Ìý

Held in the Ocean View Dining Hall, the event honored dozens of employees who reached service milestones of five years or more and seven retirees whose years of commitment helped shape the College and its mission.Ìý

The honorees represented nearly every area of the College, from academics and student support to facilities and workforce training.Ìý

ÃÛÌÒTV President Kristen Miller expressed gratitude for the honorees, noting, “The strength of our College lies in the dedication, heart, and talent of our employees. Their work makes a lasting impact on our students and our community every single day.”Ìý

This year’s milestone recognitions ranged from five to thirty-nine years of service. One retiree, Lisa Dolan, was celebrated for an extraordinary 39 years of service in IT and Data Governance. Wendy Laverdiere of Financial Aid was honored for 35 years, while Kathleen Doan from Student Success was recognized for 30 years. In total, more than 70 employees were honored during the ceremony.Ìý
