What is the MyTV Portal?


The MyTV portal is the go-to website for enrolled students and employees to find important information and links to various tools and platforms.

MyTV is Currently in Transition

MyTV is moving to a new online environment and will be available on or around March 17. In the meantime, we’ve provided key information and resources for current students, accepted students, and employees, below. We encourage you to keep an eye on this page as information will be added.

If you have questions that you can’t find the answers to, we encourage you to reach out or visit our offices directly.

Current Students

MyTV is currently being updated to a new online environment. This environment will be available on or around March 17. In the meantime:

You Can Still Access the MyTV Portal Environment

This is the environment you have been using, and you can still access it, however, there will be a blackout period from on or around March 3-March 16 when many custom functions such as searching and registering for classes, running your degree audit, and paying your bill will not be available. You will receive an error message when you try to select these functions from the existing environment. These functions will be available again starting on or around March 17 in the new MyTV environment.

You will need to use your @smccME.edu email address and login to access these tools (at least through the end of the Spring 2025 Semester – additional info will be provided).

  • (Available for those applying for Summer Housing, starting March 3.)
  • Wednesday, March 19, 6 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 1, 6 a.m. – Students with More than 30 Credits
  • Thursday, April 3, 6 a.m. –Students with Less than 30 credits

Learn how to navigate the new Anthology Student system, where you’ll search and register for classes and more!

  • Times: 9-10:30 a.m. and 3-4:30 p.m. during the dates below
  • Dates: March: 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31; April: 1, 2, 3, 4

Location: Ross Technology Building, Room 102, South Portland Campus

    • March 19, 2-3 p.m.
    • March 20, 10-11 a.m.
    • March 26, 2-3 p.m.
    • March 27, 12-1 p.m.
    • March 31, 12-1 p.m.
    • April 2, 2-3 p.m.

Location: Room 113 in the L.L.Bean Learning Commons and Health Science Center

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time.
    • If seats fill, we’ll help you identify another session you can attend.
  • Be sure you have activated your @mainecc email and know your password (visit our Information System Transition webpage).

Newly Accepted Students

We’re so excited that you’ve been accepted and can’t wait for you to become an TV Seawolf!

  1. Keep an eye on the personal email you applied with for an invite to set up your @mainecc.edu email address and login. You will need this to access helpful tools and register for classes.
  2. Learn about and register for a New Student Advising Session.

Employees

(And in some instances through the end of the Spring Semester.)

You still have access to the , even though students will be experiencing a blackout period (approx. March 3 – March 17).

You may need to complete some functions, such as entering grades, in the existing MyTV environment through the end of the Spring semester. This will be communicated in the future.

On or around March 17 you will also be able to access the new MyTV environment which is a Microsoft Sharepoint website. This website will include links to all the helpful resources and tools you need, including the new Anthology Portal. You will want to continue to access the MyTV portal through public website, www.smccME.edu, by clicking on the “MyTV” link in the upper left-hand corner.

  • Immediately: If you see changes or updates that you would like to submit for consideration, please email amullen@mainecc.edu and kmunksgaard@mainecc.edu, as well as your direct supervisor, to request these changes.
  • In the Future: The College’s executive team has identified users in their departments who will have access to edit and update particular pages relevant to their departments. Training resources and branding guidelines will be provided to users with editing access. Those with editing rights can anticipate an email with more information to come.
