ÃÛÌÒTV Summer Internship & Job Fair connects nearly 200 students with top employersÌý

ÃÛÌÒTV Maine Community College (ÃÛÌÒTV) welcomed nearly 200 students to the Summer Internship and Job Fair on January 30, where they connected with more than 20 employers offering paid internships, seasonal jobs, and professional development opportunities. IMG 5812

Held in the Campus Center, the event featured employers from various industries, including health care, finance, engineering, environmental advocacy, hospitality, and more. Students had the opportunity to network, explore career paths, and showcase the skills they’ve developed at ÃÛÌÒTV.Ìý

Donna Gaspar Jarvis, director of Career Development & Partnerships, emphasized the importance of these connections.Ìý

“This event is a vital step in helping our students bridge the gap between education and the workforce,” Gaspar Jarvis said. “The enthusiasm from employers and students was incredible, and we’re proud to provide opportunities that set our students up for success.”Ìý

Employers in attendance included MaineHealth, Martin’s Point Health Care, Bangor Savings Bank, Hannaford Supermarkets, Systems Engineering, Partners for World Health, and many more.Ìý
